The short version
Genstarters is a static content site. We do not collect personal information, do not require accounts, and do not run advertising. We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are read, and that's it.
What we collect
When you visit the site, our analytics provider (Cloudflare Web Analytics) records anonymized information about your visit: the page you viewed, the referring site, your country, device type, and browser. This data is cookieless, aggregated, and cannot be used to identify you personally.
If you submit a prompt via our GitHub PR flow, whatever information you include in that PR (name, GitHub handle, contact info) becomes public in the repository. Only include what you're comfortable making public.
What we don't do
- We don't set tracking cookies.
- We don't share data with advertisers.
- We don't sell any information.
- We don't run retargeting pixels (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- We don't require you to log in.
Third parties in use
- Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, and privacy-friendly analytics. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — serves the fonts used on the site. Google may log the IP of your request. Google's privacy policy.
- GitHub — hosts the source code and prompt submissions. GitHub's privacy statement.
Your rights
Because we don't collect personal information tied to you, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. If you have questions about how your data is handled by our third-party providers, contact them directly using the links above.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
