The short version
Genstarters uses no tracking cookies. We store one small preference in your browser (your light/dark theme choice) using localStorage. That's it.
What we store

- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No third-party session cookies.
- No login sessions (there's no login).
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. It uses a JavaScript beacon to count page views by URL, country, device type, and referrer. No cookies are set and no fingerprinting is performed. You can read more in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Third parties that may set cookies
Genstarters loads Google Fonts from Google's servers. Google may log the IP address of your request but does not set cookies for Fonts specifically. External links (e.g., to GitHub, to social platforms) may set their own cookies when you click through; those are governed by the destination site's policies.
How to clear the one thing we store
Open your browser's developer tools (right-click → Inspect → Application →
Local Storage → https://genstarters.com) and delete the theme
entry. Or clear site data for this domain in your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add anything that stores information in your browser, we'll update this page and note the change.
